The animals with a skeleton are vertebrates. They are mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.
   
     
The animals without a skeleton are invertebrates. The most important are the insects but there are a lot of invertebrate animals such as crabs, earthworm, mussel, etc, ….
