Anna J. Schwartz, 1915-

Estudia en el Barnard College (B.A. en 1934), en la  Columbia University, (M.A. en 1935) en la que también obtiene el doctorado en 1964. Es profesora de economía en la City University of New York (1967-1969) y en la New York University. Entre otros honores, presidió la Western Economic Association, (1987-88).

Anna Schwartz está especializada en economía monetaria y es colaboradora habitual de Milton Friedman.
