Objectives

We would like you to understand the concepts listed below and for you to write a summary of what is presented in this topic.
Look in the Internet for some consequences of hydrostatic pressure in relation to deep sea diving. It would also be advisable to do the experiments which we describe yourself using the simple material we indicate.

Conceptual objectives:

  • To understand the concept of pressure and to manage the units it is measured in.
  • To understand the effect of pressure on fluids and to know the expression of hydrostatic pressure.
  • To know how to intrepret in scientific terms different phenomena related to pressure in every day life.
  • To know how different devices related to pressure, work.
