In this project I am prioritising the processes, as well as technical and creative experimentation, and uniting and organising a reading of the ashes of my life. I have gone into detail not only technically but also conceptually. We navigate through the fields of confusion, anger and pain until we reach a stage in which we accept the reality. The phases are mental and sentimental, although here they are expressed artistically, with these sensations being experienced and projected through photography, videos, sculpture, drawing, or words.  Alicia Roy

The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue with the text by Margarita Aizpuru ‘EL FUEGO: Narrativas multidireccionales visuales de la destrucción y sanación en la obra de Alicia Roy (THE FIRE: Visual multidirectional narratives on destruction and healing in the work of Alicia Roy).
