Marta Galindo García

Cádiz, 1993

Is an artist currently residing in Madrid, where she works at the 35.000 jóvenes studio in the Oporto district. She studied Fine Art at the University of Seville and De Montfort University (Leicester, UK), completing her BFA in 2016, and went on to earn an MA in Artistic Research and Creation from the Complutense University of Madrid in 2018.

In 2021 she had her first solo show, Digital Afterlife, at the Valencian gallery Tuesday to Friday. She has received several grants and awards, including those offered by Fundación Antonio Gala (Córdoba, 2017), Comisario Conoce Artista by Atelier Solar (Madrid, 2020), Panorama by Galería Fran Reus (Mallorca, 2021), Fundación Mainel National Prize (Valencia 2021), La Rioja Young Art Show (Logroño, 2021) and the CICUS National Visual Arts Competition (Seville, 2020), among others. She has participated in numerous group exhibitions, most notably ARAGON PARK (Madrid, 2021), MAZE, curated by Eladio Aguilera at ChezKit (Paris, 2021), and Edén x Casantillón at the Casa de Campo (Madrid, 2020).
