This walking route takes you from Lucena to the village of Jauja, near Badolatosa, the birthplace of the famous bandolero (highwayman) José María El Tempranillo. The house where he was born remains to this day. You will cross a sea of olive groves, home to Mediterranean species, and you are quite likely to see rabbits, hares and partridges. Branching off from the trail, and passing the Anzur River, there are a number of different footpaths which will take you to the banks of Los Jarales, Amarga and Dulce Lakes.
