Go to our visitor centres, information points and ecomuseums to get the most out of your visit.
The visitor centre, located 500 metres from the town, has all the information that you need to enhance your visit to the Sierra de Castril Natural Park.
It has a helpful team providing information, a permanent exhibition where you can learn about the main characteristics of this protected area and a shop where you can buy different publications (books and brochures).
In the exhibition you can discover the different species of flora and fauna in these mountains, focussing on the Castril river.
You will also be able to see a replica of the partial mammoth skeleton found at the Fuente Nuevas site in Orce.
Take the A-326 road in the section of Castril-Pozo Alcón and at kilometre 0.2, at the edge of the town of Castril, exit according to the signs, taking the turn-off towards the visitor centre.
