DATA OF INTEREST
DESCRIPTION

This route is characterised by being one of the most beautiful and interesting routes of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park that will allow us to see many diverse landscapes: slender fir trees, imposing Valencian oaks, scrub perched on vertical walls.

Along the path we can see some of the most beautiful and impressive landscapes of the Sierra de las Nieves. On the way we will see three ecosystems of high ecological value: the Spanish fir, the high mountain Valencian oak and rocky vegetation, that is to say, the rocky flora adapted to the harsh climate: cold, snowy and strong winds.

The discovery of the old snow pits, the views from the Mirador de Luis Ceballos or Caucón, the beginning of the trail, and the legendary Peña de los Enamorados, the end of the route, add appeal to this itinerary. From this latter point you can connect with the Puerto Saucillo-Torrecilla trail.
