DATA OF INTEREST
DESCRIPTION

This is a short and relatively flat path which is suitable for children. This hiking trail starts from the Mata Bejid visitor centre and allows us to enjoy the richness and variety of species that the Mediterranean forest presents, such as holm oaks, junipers, Valencian oaks and Aleppo pines. We will also be able to observe numerous bushes such as narrow-leaved mock privet, barberries, stinking hellebore and honeysuckle.

Throughout the area you can see jays and thrushes as well as some great tits, blue tits, finches and squirrels. On the edges of the paths we can find the trails and baths (puddless or place where wild animals usually bathe and wallow) left by wild boars.

On the other hand, the route shows us the use that shepherds have made of the mountains since times immemorial, as the route passes next to a trough for livestock.
