DATA OF INTEREST
DESCRIPTION

This short walk of just 0.70 km takes us to the Coscojar viewpoint through a very clear pine forest area.

The hiking trail starts from the Jabalí recreational area, where you take a forest track heading south, parallel to the A-6177 road.

The Coscojar viewpoint is located on a curious cistern built in granite, which resembles a castle. From there you can enjoy a 360º panaramic view of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Head and the pine forests surrounding it. It is not uncommon to see large birds of prey in flight from here, such as the black vulture, griffon vulture and Iberian imperial eagle.
