La Carrizosa is one of the pools adjacent to the Zóñar Lagoon, the largest and most relevant of the many that make up this set of wetlands.
The path through this area will let us discover and view the typical lagoon vegetation, in addition to enjoying the landscape of crops that surrounds us. Common reeds, snakeplant, cattails and canes stand out along with some underwater plants that sometimes form floating masses.
Accessed from the A-45 motorway (exit km 40), taking the road that connects Aguilar with Puente Genil (A-304), we continue along this road, from which we will see the recreational area of the Villares de Zóñar. About two kilometres from the exit, we reach the visitor centre. The equipment is located at a distance of approximately four kilometres from Aguilar.
