DATA OF INTEREST
DESCRIPTION

In these lands that gave shelter to the famous bandit José María "El Tempranillo" in 1830, there is currently a signposted hiking trail that guides the visitor through a linear route between the Amarga and Dulce lagoons. There are informative signs along the 1,000 metres trail.

The Amarga lagoon receives its name from the high concentration of magnesium sulfate in its waters. We will be surprised by the chromatic contrast of this lagoon, of intense blue, and the Dulce lagoon, which has much warmer tones despite being very close.

Since both lagoons were part of privately owned farms, they constituted a traditional recreational area for the local population.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Access to the Laguna Amarga viewpoint is closed, the walkway that leads to it is in poor condition.
