DATA OF INTEREST
DESCRIPTION

This long path takes us from the reservoir and the Rumblar colony to Los Escoriales. The road delights us with different landscapes, from forest to dry farmland and olive groves passing through open oak woodlands (dehesas), we are shown one of the unique activities of the Sierra de Andújar; the breeding of wild cattle. Fighting bulls are part of the landscape of some farms along a route where we can see a great example of a dehesa forest.

This hiking trail is highly valued due to the conservation of the Mediterranean forest, the dehesa and other ecosystems where numerous animals live, including the Iberian lynx.
