DATA OF INTEREST
DESCRIPTION

This hiking trail is another of the classic routes up to the top of the Sierra de las Nieves Natural Park, and the Torrecilla peak which stands at almost 2,000 metres.

Starting from the natural viewpoint of Puerto Saucillo, due to the steep incline, we see practically all possible vegetaion formations, going from the scrub areas of the lower parts, to high mountain meadows dotted with centenary Valencian oaks.

Additionally, the continuous ascent provides a variety of mountain views which are difficult to come across in other itineraries. We will pass through a hill from which we will see the Peña de los Enamorados, which is snow-capped in winter.
