Spain's oldest pilgrimage is held at the Virgen de la Cabeza sanctuary on the last Sunday in April, and brings together more than half a million people every year. Located atop Cerro del Cabezo, surrounded by granite outcrops and holm oak woods, this sanctuary is home to one of the "black Virgin Marys" with most followers. Access is via the road from Andújar and then the trail leads up the hill with beautiful views of the Park form the viewpoint.
